About Us

A Letter from the Owner

Established in May 2012, Find X Designs goal from the very beginning has been to provide superior customer service and high-quality fabric, yarn and sewing machines to Lee and surrounding counties. We work hard to provide the highest quality materials and sewing machines at the best prices possible. And we are growing. We have more than doubled our retail floor space. And added a huge, well-lit, well-equipped and comfortable classroom outfitted with top-of-the line Pfaff Sewing and Embroidery machines which are available to rent by the hour or the day. And we have free coffee!

Find X Designs stocks well over 2,500 bolts of high-quality fabric from many of the finest manufacturers and we continue to expand our fabric inventory every chance we can.

But best of all, we are an authorized PFAFF Dealer and Service Center. PFAFF has been making high-quality sewing machine since the mid-1800’s.  We firmly believe that there is no finer sewing machine on the market today.  In fact, we have personally owned several PFAFF sewing machines since 1976.

Find X Designs also provides training and classes ranging from basic sewing, quilting, knitting and going all the way up to Long Arm quilting machine training.  Our classes are small and provide lots of one-on-one instruction.

Find X Designs LLC is owned and operated by my wonderful husband, Steve, and I.  We have lived in Lee County for almost 20 years and have every intention of being here to grow with Lee County in the future. We are committed to Lee County.  I am a retired math teacher having taught at East Lee Middle School as well as both Lee County High schools and Wake County schools. I have well over 30 years of sewing expertise along with many years of knitting, crochet and weaving experience.  Steve is a PFAFF factory trained service technician and all machines are serviced on-site. And both Steve and I are veterans. In fact, we met while stationed in Germany.  I served in the United States Army and Steve has over 26 years of active service in the United States Air Force.
