Edge-to-Edge Quilting with Embroidery Machine

Are you ready to learn edge to edge quilting using your embroidery machine? In this Lecture/Demo class you will learn how to ensure successful multi-hooping for all over quilting in the hoop. Our instructor Suzanne will walk you through hooping, creating registration marks, working on-screen with the design, and planning the whole quilt.

The Edge to Edge Quilting book or one of the Edge to Edge CD's is required for this class. Either CD will includes embroidery files for 10 quilting designs available in three sizes. If you need help getting your software loaded, please contact us to arrange a time before class. You will need a USB that works on your sewing machine. Please download files that fit your largest hoop. The CD that comes contains files in the following formats: ART, DST, EXP, HUS, JEF, PES, VIP, VP3, 10o.
Small design needs a 5.6”x 9.9” stitching field.
Medium design needs a 6.7”x 11.7” stitching field
Large design needs a 7.8”x 13.8" stitching field

Materials needed:

  • Quilt sandwich (42"x42") back must be at least one hoop size larger on all sides then the top. 
  • USB 2.0 GB or less (preloaded with design off your CD)
  • Edge to Edge Quilting Book with CD or Edge to Edge CD
  • Nancy Zieman - Double Sided Basting Tape (1/2" wide)
  • Embroidery Machine
