Edge-to-Edge Quilting with Embroidery Machine

Are you ready to learn edge to edge quilting using your embroidery machine? In this Lecture/Demo class you will learn how to ensure successful multi-hooping for all over quilting in the hoop. Our instructor, Suzanne, will walk you through hooping, working on-screen with the design, and planning out the quilt design.

The Edge to Edge Quilting book or one of the Edge to Edge CD's is required for this class. Either CD will include embroidery files for 10 quilting designs available in three sizes. You will need a USB that works on your sewing machine. Please download files that fit your largest hoop. The CD contains files in the following formats: VP3.  If you need help getting your software loaded, please contact us to arrange a time for assistance before class.

Bring all hoops that came with your machine to this class.

Materials needed:

• Practice sandwich made from the same type of batting and fabric to check tension  20in x 15in
• Top and bottom thread should be the same type/manufacture. Color may vary. dark w/a light is not recommended.
• Pattern Ease (1-yard)
• Quilt sandwich at least (42in x 42in) can be larger, back must be at least 10in larger on all sides.
  
• USB 2.0 GB or less that fits your machine (preloaded with design from your CD)
• Edge to Edge Quilting Book with CD  OR  Edge to Edge CD
• Clover - Double Sided Basting Tape (1/2in wide)
• Embroidery Machine 
• Pencil
• Small ruler
• Marking pen
• Double sided tape
• 6A foot or embroidery foot
• Scissors
• Extra bobbins
